Around the world, the first places covered by the high-speed 5G network are slowly starting to appear. However, in order to be able to enjoy their benefits, you need compatible devices, of which there are not too many in the world yet. But smartphone manufacturers promise to offer 5G support for their phones soon. Well, at least some. The arrival of 5G iPhones in the near future does not look so rosy, even if it is Apple trying as much as possible.
We will see three cameras on the back this year, but not 5G support:
The Californian giant purchased data modems for its iPhones from Qualcomm and later Intel. However, he fell out with the first-named due to patent disputes a few months ago, and now they are rather at each other's throats. Although Intel is problem-free in this regard, its modems do not reach the same level as those from Qualcomm, and unfortunately this should also apply to 5G. That's why he started Apple recently, according to available information, to work on its own data modem, thanks to which it could become independent in this regard in the future. But according to a recent Fast Company report, its development is slow.

Fast Company's sources say that roughly one to two thousand engineers are increasingly working on data modems for iPhones, with many of them Apple pulled from either Intel or Qualcomm. In addition, the number of workers on this project is still increasing, which means that Apple is increasingly focusing on developing its own modem. ComponeHowever, the project is still in its infancy and is expected to be completed around 2021. It is therefore very likely that miniAt least the next two years will have to Apple rely on modems from one of your suppliers. But the question is which one it will be.
There has been a lot of speculation in recent months about Intel supplying 5G modems for iPhones. However, as I mentioned above, its technology is not yet at a level where it can be used. Apple satisfied and in their phonesonech used it. Intel has Applu will deliver the first samples of its modems this summer, but according to Fast Company, it is Apple already more or less convinced that they won't be of very good quality and he doesn't nod to Intel's offers.

Overall, the situation regarding 5G will be iPhonech in the coming months or years will be quite interesting. Some analysts predict that we may not see support for these networks next year, even though most of the competition with Android will have adopted 5G by then. However, such hesitation could Apple regret, as it could be reflected in the sales of his smartphones.
Just as 9 mothers will not give birth on a diet in a month, so neither will Comrade v Apple I won't have a usable 5G modem for 3-4 years.. and I can have 10 thousand engineers. VF technology (and especially testing) is different than the rounded corners of the UI, not to mention the fact that the 5G specification will also move further during that time.. currently only Qualcomm and Huawei have functional 5G chipsets (ie not talking points in PowerPoint like Intel), with them Tim is about to trade neurobi :-))))
None of the manufacturers of 3G/LTE/5G chipsets neuroI got really usable chipsets on the first try.. and quite a few of them didn't even get on the second try (Intel, Mediatek) :-))))
