The war between iPhone and Samsung smartphone users has been raging for years, and any peace is still in sight. However, it is not surprising. Both companies try to outdo each other year after year with the innovations they implement in their smartphones, which their loyal fans appreciate and always convince their opponents of the perfection of the models they use. However, while in recent years, as an Apple fan, Samsung has not impressed me with any of its smartphonesonem didn't really impress, this year could be different in this regard. The South Koreans are preparing a revolution in the form of a model Galaxy S10.

When Apple celebrated the tenth anniversary of the “birth” of the iPhone, introducing the world to a revolutionary device in many ways iPhone X, or 10. Samsung is no different in this regard, and on the tenth birthday of the premium line Galaxy S is preparing something truly special. Although we will have to wait another 13 days for the official presentation of this birthday news, as Samsung has it planned for February 20, we already know a lot of interesting things about it. Even the South Korean giant could not keep the preparations of the news under wraps enough, and some of its features have already been known to the world for quite a few weeks. We can look forward to up to four models, one of which will primarily target less demanding users, two will be more standard and the last one will be premium with 5G support or ceramic backs.
However, the new products will also boast a huge 1TB of storage, a perfect display or battery life, a hole in the display for sensors and, last but not least, up to 12GB of RAM. The parameters are nice, aren't they? Nevertheless, at least according to leaked benchmarks, they won't surpass last year's iPhones in terms of performance. Of course, benchmarks don't have much of a telling value and their results should be taken with a certain reserve. On the other hand, it was the "Android guys" who always boasted about how some flagship from China or South Korea would overwhelm iPhones in this regard. In any case, performance doesn't really excite us that much. ProNo? Simply because the top models of the world's leading manufacturers have had it so much in recent years that 99% of us have never used it anyway. maximum won't use it. Or maybe you edit 4K videos on your phone 8 hours a day?
This is how one of the models will be Galaxy The S10 – specifically the S10+ – look (source):
The dream of all apple lovers
New Galaxy But the S10 should also bring a feature that many users have been calling for since the introduction of the iPhone X – an in-display fingerprint reader. Although it is already available in some smartphonesonech discovered, however, the one from Samsung is supposed to be the best of the best and most importantly it will be installed in a phone from the series that is year after year for iPhones from AppIt is the biggest competitor. With a bit of exaggeration, it could be said that Samsung brings the gadgets that users are most calling for. Appyou.
And what is the biggest flaw in this new product? Apparently the Android operating system, which may not suit everyone – as is the case with iOSOn the other hand, there is probably no point in worrying too much about a new Galaxy S10 unusable after a few months precisely because of Android. This system has come a long way since its inception and it does not fare badly on the most expensive flagships.

As a result, Samsung could actually introduce a smartphone this year.one, which some apple lovers might consider purchasing. I have to admit that, even though I am a die-hard apple lover, Galaxy The S10 looks really good from the leaks so far and I would definitely not mind testing it, although I can't really imagine how I would function without FaceTime or iMessageBut who knows, maybe some of his gadgets would overshadow the absence of these two things.
Even if it was an S68 - I wouldn't want anything with android even for free
No, of course not, I'm not an idiot :-) The only Android phone that makes sense to me is BlackBerry.
BlackBerry but it doesn't have android :D
😲 and what?
Tom: I would like to retort in the past.. Android is no longer stuck and BlackBerry He has had Android for a long time ;)
Welcome to today's reality.
I am a fan. Iphone I have SE, but it's been coming to me lately. Iphone It's not what it used to be, it's not worth it for that kind of money, the competition is already on the rise. Iphone pushed it further and even for better money, if it weren't for the OS iOS uz Iphone I haven't had it for a long time.
if I had a Samsung iOS🤷🏼♂️
However, that would not be possible, and it would work much worse on it than the android that is there 😉
I like the approach LsA when are they able to admit that the S10 is a good phone. Which of course (mostly) cannot be said about Android phones, but at any given opportunity iPhone it rains fire and lava… 😀
That is not true. Even the Anroids admit that iPhone it's a good phone, it just doesn't have what they require, like customization options, widgety anywhere on the screen etc. Of course the discussions are flooded with extreme opinions, but from both sides. Neither camp has anything to blame for that
Depending on whether there will be another iPhone cost more than a family house outside Prague
Android itself is fine, but I don't like their semi-flat design at all.
No! Even if it will Galaxy S15✌️
Not by mistake 😂
Who only has a phone, it doesn't matter at all
It will always be the safest and best phone for me Iphone .
Ne
It will always be just a stuck android, definitely not!!!
Sorry, but stupid opinion. It hasn't been the case for a long time.
Not by chance 😀
The application stopped working….. No ! Thanks
Yes .. I am already satisfied with Note 9..
Agreed, I also switched to the Note 9. It's the best device I've ever used.
IOS it's top, but the prices of new models are already a bit high...
Haha wait
No, we won't 😂
I like them :)
Iphone never again, only problems.. For example, turning off in the winter, I simply will not try it. Android is not what it used to be, now it is a stable system and functional. Even on a phone for 4 thousand. Yes, I admit that iOS it has updates for several years. but that's it..
Hmm, I know it just with the iPhone, u Galaxy I didn't have that problem.
That sensor hole is a good piece of shit. S9 and s8 had the best in my opinion.
Well, probably better as a perennial as on Xk
Never again. I gave upancI also didn't like the S9+ and the app crashes and crashes.
which apps were they?
Let him go, he's lying...
You are a really good comedian….
Nonsense. And if something falls, the phone manufacturer is probably not to blame, but the app author. I don't like the S9+ at all.
I don't have to worry if he keeps it up iphone the flashlight you have on mine is 10 pro, so I'll go to it iphone zas
Certainly not, I am loyal – I have now bought a rather overpriced Xs, but I calmly say: “Let Samsung App"They might even tear your ass apart, just let them know they have to add." :-)
This is one of the best responses to articles I've seen here. LSA seen in a VERY long time! I have a similar situation, by the way.
Very few people realize how important competition is - from the customer's point of view, of course - fans act like shareholders, but if there was no competition there would be iphone 3g for 2000 euros 5 years in a row
I doubt the S10 will be in any "reasonable" price range, tooneAfter all, prices are the main problem being addressed and criticized here. Appyou. Pro For me, the main reason I wouldn't switch to Android is the iwatch. If they weren't there, I might try it. But definitely not Samsung or Huawei. More like LG.
Basic Galaxy The S10 will go on sale in the same colors with the exception of yellow. The basic configuration with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB memory will cost EUR 899 (about 23 crowns), the more equipped version with 100 GB RAM and 8 GB memory will cost EUR 512 (about 1 crowns).
The most equipped Galaxy The S10+ will also be offered in green, white, black and blue, but these colors only apply to the two basic configurations of 6/128 and 8/512 GB. The first will cost EUR 999 (about 25 crowns), the second will cost EUR 700 (about 1 crowns).
The special edition will become a separate chapter Galaxy S10+, which is supposed to have a body made of ceramics, in the colors Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. This phone will be offered in only one storage configuration with 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. Samsung charges EUR 1 (about 499 crowns) for this top model.
Otherwise iwatches don't exist 😊 but I understand when everything is i-something and in the end apple watch 😊
:-)
there are no iwatches
we won't
Lol 😀 there's no danger 😀 even if it's s20 😀 it's still hummus Android even on the best device 😁😁
It's still android 😉
Maybe for half a year
How long will the new Samsung last for the average user before having to do the first factory reset?
You might be surprised, but it can take a few years... To convince the blind who compares phones for 3 thousand with phonesonem for 25000, it's not worth it. I've had the S9+ for about a year and it hasn't crashed, not even once. I have the same experience with the S7, but you'll still claim that Android crashes because they said so on YouTube...
I've never owned an Android under 10 CZK, although I got a few pieces for backup and factory settings, but I've never used them personally. For Android, I started on a Samsung Galaxy S1, then S4, some Sony for a while, LG G4 – strangely enough, it was quite stable, but after a year the display went away (I got a refund), I had it for about half a year Galaxy S7 and disaster, something kept not working, calls were dropped, the signal was lost senselessly in a place where other phones were perfectly fine with the same operator, sometimes the mobile internet didn't work... I complained several times, once they even came to pick up the phone in person and lent me a replacement, butonec I withdrew from the purchase contract and bought it out of curiosity iPhone 7 Plus (I had previously received an older iPad 4, so I had a little idea what I was getting into), yes, at first I was annoyed by a lot of things, for example, the fact that most applications cannot work in the background (maybe just playing music), downloading directly from the browser is quite problematic with a few exceptions, then I miss some Android applications, for example Locus... But with iPhone I haven't had a single problem since I bought it, I don't know what app crashes are, I don't know what signal loss is without an obvious cause, I don't drop calls, my recorded 4K video doesn't freeze, backups work automatically, I don't get bothered by any messages... That's why I also bought an iPad 2018 and MacBook Prowith whom as a former Windowsyes, sometimes I also struggle a bit, but more or less I am almost completely satisfied.
1Luboš1: I didn't have a single problem with the seven that you mention, on the contrary, we had a stroke in our family with complaints about iPhones still not working. It's about individual pieces, luck and bad luck
I don't know what to say about it, probably a defective piece :-) I have an S9+ and I really don't have a problem, of course I'm talking about Samsung apps, not GPlay apps... I had an S7 for 2 years absolutely, without any problems, after two years the display cracked and I got a new one, I gave it to my wife and talked her into selling it iphone 6. She grumbled for a few days, but after a week she said, it's a really better phone, it doesn't crash at all and takes better photos :-D My wife really doesn't "just give a damn", she's happy to send an email. What I meant was, the android crashes exactly the same as iosAnyone who claims otherwise is blind.
Previously, the truth was barely half a year. Today, the entire lifetime
You will be surprised, but with my S7e, even after 2 Android OS updates to a higher version, it was not necessary even once. Don't read so many fairy tales for children, that's how users AppYou're embarrassing me. It's unnecessary, everyone just likes their own thing. But there's no need to invent fairy tales and horror stories for your own satisfaction about ugly competition...
"Flagships don't go bad at all". He is not bad at all even in the middle class.
Apple does not have a middle school, and from iOS 7 steps iOS miserable at everything (iOS 12) is a minor exception.
Earlier Apple he set the direction, now he is setting an ever higher price for an ever worse product.
And BTW – I use both Android and iOS.
What are we going to talk about? An indisputable advantage over AppThey have a good battery life in the cold. I have an 8 and an SE and both of them, when it's cold outside and I'm on the phone, the batteries disappear before my eyes. I've never had that with the Samsung S7 nesthello.
I have since the release Galaxy S7 and to this day I don't have a problem with my phone freezing up or slowing down, so Android is already quite good, including the add-on from Samsung... I was thinking about the S10, but I don't want a big phone, so it only meets Galaxy The S10 lite, however, won't have a fingerprint reader under the display, and what really destroys me is the disproportionately thick frame (thicker phone chin)... That's probably the only thing that I honestly envy apple owners.
The author of the article reminds me of himself with his thoughts.. When he came Galaxy S7 Edge and it was full of superlatives, so I couldn't resist and went in. After two months I came back and bought two really good quality shoes.
But I admit that there is only one variaThe one that would break me = it would have to be a really good and nice Pixel + the new Fuchsia OS. Which will probably never happen considering the direction the Pixels are going and how Google is experimenting or rather desperately groping in its applications – when it first introduces a bunch of new features and then cancels them and replaces them with other new features (see Allo, Hangouts, Google+, GSuite and growing gluttony = more ads, more money for services).
Yep, the Pixel is a great phone. If only he wasn't so disgustingly disgusting
I don't know, well, my dream is definitely not a fingerprint reader in the display or anywhere else. I am 100% satisfied with Face ID.
I'd rather have a notch than a hole in the display 😅 and somehow I don't know what I would need 12GB of RAM in an iPhone for 🤔🤔
Probably to get the right product for your money? What would be the point in Airfor quad-core? So that I don't buy a worse laptop for 40 taka than an Acer for 15? Why full HD on the XR? Probably so that I don't pay 24 for a phone with a shitty display? It always makes me laugh when someone brags about being fucked.
God… you better not write anything anymore… :)
Absolute lies. Yes, I have seen many times the comparison of the Acer in an aluminum body with macbookem air. The funny thing is that these Acers today hum like a 20 year old vacuum cleaner and airy drive without a problem. But you're right, it's exactly the same. I'm amazed how someone can compare things without having their own experience. That's terrible...

The new Sony XZ4 seems to me to be a better Android option for Apple fans than Samsung
Xunt
After many years of use Apple products, I resisted Android, but when I received a budget at work to buy a new phone, I thought I would try the S9+, iP X was about 4000 CZK above the budget at the time. After half a year of use, I have to say that Android has really come a long way, because I don't have the slightest problem when it comes to the reliability and smoothness of the system. But I have to lean towards strategy again Apple. What is the point of the S9+ having: 1. a curved display – absolutely no practical use, except for the shortcut bar…, 2. unlocking by scanning the face – only works under very good conditions, it doesn’t recognize you in glasses, a hat, in the dark), 3. force touch – only works on the “home", where it also has no real use, 4. widescreen display - when playing the vast majority of games you still have black bands on the edges, and the phone is just unnecessarily tall, so it is not possible to use one hand to control it (without gestures). In my opinion, the purpose is not to have all the gadgets on paper, but let it be mainly functional. Development has slowed down and I appreciate the Applethat he is still thinking about what it is for and not let it be and let me have it first. As for the workflow, I still prefer to reach for the iP. I evaluate the S9+ as untapped potential. Personally, I think that touch ID It's already the past and Apple will not return to it and will be even more in tune Face ID.
touch id It can't be the past when it's been a few months since it happened. apple presented in macbooku air
I think they matched the MB Pro equipment, Face ID will probably arrive sooner than later air
It's strange with those videos. Even in the Samsung browser you can expand it to full screen, you can see a little square at the bottom, the same in the Samsung video player, also in YouTube, there it's a gesture with your fingers apart to the top right and bottom left. Plus it works in Google movies. I don't use facial recognition, Golden fingerprint reader. I hope Samsung never gets rid of it and doesn't go the stupid way Applu force something on people that they don't want as the only option. As for controls, Android 9 started a process where most controls are moving to the middle or bottom. I think this will also be carried over to the base Android for paddles.
Personally, I'd be happy to have two instance-communicators and with multiple applications at the same time.
I will probably buy it for testing, and as a second phone, but I will primarily stick with my X
Well, the camera in the back is absolutely beautiful 😅
Exactly :) and the new Nokia is also a work of art with those lenses at the back
So buy an android if you like it that way
When Samsung has iOS, then perhaps – until then I'll stay with Apple, specifically on your XS MAX I can't complain.
we won't
The phone may be good, but as the author states, it probably wouldn't be possible without FaceTime and iMessage, so I'll just add that what about FaceTime and iMessage, the perfect interconnectedness of the ecosystem would be missed the most, device synchronization is one thing, but another, keep in mind that you Apple Home runs the whole house, samsung doesn't have anything like that
No way out, you have to hug the tree...start living and don't talk at home, on the loudspeaker :-)
The only thing I would use a Samsung S10 for is to sell it right away so I can buy another one. HomeUnderneath and some nice belt to Apple Watch:D
I'm proud of the fact that I've never had a droid and I switched straight to iPhones from a SonyEricsson C910 with a short break on a symbian samsung.
majkronyk: Are you proud of the fact that you didn't have Android? You probably don't have your emotions right, you need a doctor.
When they have bezel-less and notch-free displays. Even the notch looks ugly, this one is just a little less ugly. But the in-display fingerprint reader looks interesting. And that's their One UI too. Moving all the controls down or to the middle makes a lot of sense on large phones. It's the future. It's still a work in progress, but yours will be a breeze.
I had iphone 6 several years, great phone, but that iTunes from Applu is a disaster. Now I use S9 and I'm happy. Just to make calls and watch facebook, email, took a few photos, that's more than enough for me. Plus, I don't like the notch and the hole in the display at all, so I'm curious what I'll get next 🙂
When I lived in the USA and earned about 75 thousand + they paid rent for me. Whether it's too little or too much is for everyone to decide, but I could buy a Mac without any problems. I never did though, because for almost half the money I got the same thing with Windows. My daughter who also lived there bought only Macs and I can confirm that they were the same crap as the other computers and they also went away around the same time frame. I also didn't like theirs, at that time there was only one mouse and a rickety keyboard.
I bought iPads in the US but not iPhones because they were locked to AT&T. Back then, I used iPads a lot, for movies and reading books. Buying an iPad for movies has lost its meaning with the arrival of large iPhones, and now I prefer to have books read by a blabbermouth.
I am writing all this because I think that at the present time Apple with iPhones copies the policy with Macs. At exorbitant prices, it offers mediocre goods. And I, even though I'm already into apps in App He stuffed a hundred with thousands, I won't let him get away with itonekoneto make a cow and miniI'm almost switching to the competition for a test. Either Apple will he recover or end up in the abyss of history, like many companies before him.
