Denzyl Feigelson and his company Platoon:

Platoon's founder, Denzyl Feigelson, worked in Applu for more than 15 years. He was mainly responsible for artist relations and of course we cannot forget the iTunes festival in London, which he organized. On his LinkedIn profile he states that since 2002 he has also been with Applem collaborated on special events and projects. Among other things, after the launch of the iTunes service, he took care of its operation, and to make matters worse, according to available information, he was close friends with Steve Jobs.

Platoon takes care of all distribution, financeancand marketing of artists who are not signed anywhere. However, Feigelson had already created one such project in the future. Its name was Artists Without A Label (AWAL), which simply means "artists without a label". If you wanted to join this label in the past, each of your albums would be sold for $ 10 + shipping. In addition, Denzyl stored all the albums in his garage, from where he subsequently sent them. In 2001, just before Feigelson moved to Applu, the AWAL label has managed to sell hundreds of recordings, both on CD and via the internet. As is customary, Apple did not comment on the acquisition of Platoon.
