Apple moved all theCloud Chinese users' data to the servers of the state-owned Chinese company China Telecom. Apple already controversially in January he announcedthat on andCloud services in China will be overseen by GCBD, a company with ties to the Chinese government. The Chinese firm GCBD has decided that all iCloud data (email addresses, text messages, encryption keys) will be moved to China Telecom servers. Customers who do not want their iCloud data was managed by GCBD, they had the option to deactivate their account or choose a country other than China for their iCloud account.
Apple had to make the above changes in order not to violate Chinese laws regarding regulations for cloude-services. By law, foreign companies must store data within the country.
A move that will probably mean the loss of customers and a decrease in iPhone sales in China
Where is the famous user privacy protection that Apple does it mark private groves only in the US?
If he wants to go there tooCloud nothing can be done to operate.
Welcome to the new era. Here the Chinese dictate the terms 😬
