iWant is definitely not afraid of thirteens, so yesterday, Friday, April 13, at 13:00 p.m., it opened its ninth store in the Czech Republic. The new branch is located on Anděl in OC Nový Smíchov, and in order for iWant to turn an unfortunate day into a happy day for all visitors, it has prepared several interesting events and also a competition for Apple Watch and a trip to London. The grand opening was attended by a whole crowd of fans and our editorial team was also present.
ProThe store opened at exactly 13 p.m. and customers were greeted with discounts on, for example, iPhone SE, which could be purchased for only 7 CZK or iPhone 7 32 GB for 13 CZK. iWant also had a promotion for Apple laptop lovers – MacBook Air 128 GB could be purchased for CZK 20 and MacBook Pro 128 GB for only 29 CZK. In short, all the others didn't come either Apple products that customers could purchase with a 13% discount.

iWant located its new store practically just a short distance from the main entrance, specifically right behind the Flying Tiger store, so it was not difficult for visitors to find it. It was the easy availability that in its own way also contributed to the large turnout, as a large crowd of people was already standing in front of the store a few tens of minutes before the opening ceremony. Visitors were attracted not only by interesting discounts, but above all by a competition for a weekend trip to London for two people and also a draw for new Apple Watch, in which everyone who took a picture in the iWant photo booth using many props entered.
The whole event was conducted by the presenter from Europe 2, Bob Švarc, who even counted down the last 13 seconds before the giant tarp covering the store fell. Soon, to the applause of all the sellers present, the first crowds of visitors entered the store, for whom, among other things, small refreshments were also prepared. I went there yesterday after work to iPhone 7, but I turned around – too many people and long lines – nothing for me.
