Silicon Valley startup Swarm Technologies applied for permission to launch four satellites into space in December last year. However, the government agency denied the company permission due to the small size of the satellites. In order for Space Surveillance Network (SSN) satellites must measure at least 10 cm. However, those from Swarm Technologies measured less than three. If the SSN could not track them, there would be a risk of collision with other artificial satellites.

However, despite the rejection of the application, the startup decided to get the satellites into space and put them on board the well-known Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle rocket. Magazine Spectrum has now released information that suggests the orbits almost exactly match the requirements in the rejected application. However, no one knows how the company will be punished, as no such case has ever been nestal.
