Apple at the June developer conference WWDC introduced smart speaker HomePod. It was originally supposed to go on sale in December, but the Cupertino company in November announcedthat it needs more time than HomePod is preparing for sale, so it has postponed the start of sales until early 2018. The US government agency Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has now approved the Apple smart speaker, so Apple can tooneto start its sale.

All devices that use communication technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must be approved by the FCC due to regulations before they can hit store shelves. Apple got the green light from the FCC, so it's only a matter of time before HomeThe pod will start selling.

Just for comparison, the FCC approved iPhone X on October 4, just a month before it went on sale. If the same scenario occurs for HomeAccording to Podu, this means that the smart speaker could reach the first customers during February.

Initially it will be HomePod available only to customers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Apple considers the beginning of 2018 to be the period from January to April, so it is quite difficult to determine a potential sales start date HomeUnder.
