Out of impatience, I also installed the public beta on my iphone 7+ and I have a problem. Do you normally use HEVC and HEIF? When I switch it to High Efficiency in the settings, which it should be, the photos are still jpeg and the videos are still h264.
nakonec I answered it myself. I just restarted the phone and it works. Anyway, I was quite unpleasantly surprised that there is no photo viewer for HEIF on windows? As I understand that not every PC has the power to play HEVC, but the fact that I can't even display photos is a strength :D
