Mostly through them, we get to know behind-the-scenes tidbits that we would never have thought of otherwise. This time, rather than something interesting, it is a pure statement of facts. Program for battery replacement in the affected iPhonech 6s caused in official Apple There is huge chaos in the shops. The information was provided by an unnamed employee who had been a manager for a long time. Genius Baru. Replacing the battery in one phone supposedly takes about 20-45 minutes. It is said that 15-30 phones can be repaired in a whole day. Even that is said to be little and the income from replacement is significantly higher than the issue of repaired devices. The claimed phones are thus bought up in stores and the waiting time gradually increases. This is logically reflected in angry customers.
The original assumptions assumed that there would not be too many affected phones. However, as it turned out over time, the problem is much more extensive than that Apple assumed. In addition, many customers have the right to exchange, which is logically reflected in the fact that people are happy to take advantage of this opportunity. With us, these exchanges are carried out by authorized services.

Well, the chaos around it was decent, but whatonec replacement completed within a week! So hopefully OK
Well, if the problem is in the file iOS, as is speculated and shown, not even?
Does anyone have experience using the classic warranty at the dealer for the battery that is draining? I seem to have the same problem with the battery (the phone sometimes turns off at 30-50% and wants to connect to the charger. After connecting or after some time, it turns on and has % as at the time of shutdown). Unfortunately, according to the serial number, I am not entitled to a replacement.
I use my phone for work very often and I would hate to be without my phone for 2-4 weeks, only to read that the problem was not found.
Thanks in advance for the advice
Yes I have, I've been waiting for my phone for 5 days now iPhone 6S 16G – Gold. Reported to Czech Service. Same problem as yours. The phone turns off at 70% and shows 0% battery, I HAVE NO RIGHT TO REPLACEMENT, THEY LOOKED FOR IT IN SERVICE. I think it will be replaced with a refurbished one. And I don't trust their battery replacement.
Hi, has anyone taken advantage of the recall and still had the one year limited warranty Apple? If I still have this warranty, will my battery be replaced or will I get a new refurbished part?
Battery only.
It is about "Repair Extension Programs" and this is an out-of-warranty repair.
Hello, I own iPhone 6S, which I had the same problem with. It turned off at about 40% battery capacity. I contacted iStyle, where the phone was purchased, and was told that the repair of the device would take about 30 days. I did not accept this and contacted Český servis as directly.
If I can help, write directly to Czech Service and state that you want to order a battery for your disabled person. iPhone 6S (they will ask for the phone's serial number and your permanent address), and that after delivery you request a subsequent exchange while waiting at the branch (the exchange itself takes up to half an hour).
I followed the instructions and everything was taken care of within 6 working days, including ordering the battery. I am testing the phone for the second day and I have not encountered any problem so far. The phone no longer turns off.
Good luck!
And based on the serial number, were you eligible for a replacement or not?
Yes he had. If I were you, I would file a claim. Try asking the technicians at the Czech Service. If I have the correct information, the majority of iStor complaints end there anyway.
ProYes, if I bought my phone in Alza, can I request a battery replacement in an istyle or iwant store?
