Edward Hornsey had a fairly intense relationship with the company's service centers Apple in Great Britain. During the year, he returned an incredible 51 phones and exchanged them for new ones. This fact alone is quite unusual, but it would still be understandable if at least one of these phones was his. Edward found a gap in the service Apple products and so he bought dozens of used phones and sent them Applu with a complaint request. He must have known the system of how the service works in Britain quite well and therefore listed the defects that Apple he is unable to diagnose or the diagnosis would cost so much time and money that he would rather replace the phone with a new one.
Such defects include, for example, signal loss. Apple in short, it is not able to diagnose the problem that you describe with the words: "sometimes out of nowhere my signal drops out and I can't call you." In that case, it is impossible to find out for two weeks when and under what circumstances the signal drops out and what causes it, Apple therefore, they will immediately replace your phone (beware, only in some countries!). The joke is that until now the company did not keep any database of these repairs or exchanges, or swap units, so you could actually do a similar operation as many times as you wanted.
Basically everything could workonekoneIf only 45 of the 51 phones Edward exchanged for new ones had not been registered as lost or stolen. The police caught him as he was trying to return them. Applu phone, which was connected to burglary and other criminal activity and therefore the police were searching for the phone. Nakonec officers discovered that Edward had credited a total of £27 to his account and, given that he was studying at the time, rather than be associated with the robbery, he gave the police all the details.
Judge nakonec stated that it was a fraud not only on the company Apple, but also on the seller and his customers and therefore punished him with imprisonment as an exemplary case. The court also warned Apple, which immediately began changing its complaints system and customer records, which means that phone repairs can now take longer than ever before and are not as smooth as we're used to. Thank you Edward!

A similar parasite operated even here on LSAwhen the forum was still operating. He offered people for a fee to advertise a mechanically damaged iPhone for a new one. When I told him that his behavior was miniHe was downright immoral, saying that it wasn't his problem, that service centers had poorly written complaint procedures, or that the stores were staffed by amateurs who would lie to him about phone problems that they couldn't even verify.
He also boasted that the seller who took over the phone did not mention the damage in the report, and then when he took the phone from repair, he claimed that the damage was caused by the service.
Unfortunately I don't remember his Nick anymore.
What to say about such a person? …
And then, the Czechs are cunning.
JKJ: thieves and swindlers are also in Slovakia and there are not a few of them./Note: I am Slovak and I am ashamed of them./
Iphone I buy one every other year, mainly because when something goes wrong with it (home button, non-functioning charging, dust inside the camera) so exchange it for a new piece immediately without unnecessary delays. This cannot be said about other brands... And if it changes because of problems like this one, I don't know...
