June flew by and with the beginning of the new month we also have a new video showing the progress of the construction of the super modern Apple Campus 2. Quite a lot happened in June, and you can really see it in the video, which you can watch as always at the end of the article. The overall silhouette of the complex is starting to resemble the original designs more concretely, and everything is slowly starting to fit together. Not yet, the construction work should be finished by the end of this year. In June, the most work was done on the energy systems, i.e. solar panels, substations and huge power batteries.
Over the past month, the construction workers have been really blessed. It would almost be worth comparing the entire monthly progress and showing it to our construction companies so that they can see how it is done and that it can be done when it is wanted (and must). If construction continues at a similar rate for the rest of the year, completion of the work before this year's Sylvester is taking on a very real shape. But let's take a look at the list of things that changed in June.
The main change that the building has undergone in the last month is the installation of a huge number of solar panels and fuel cells. Just as impressive as the quantum of these panels are also the huge glass windows that have begun to expand around the inner circumference of the building.
Cilem AppThe new headquarters will be 75% powered by renewable energy sources, primarily solar energy. The remaining 25% will be provided by external solar energy supplier First Solar.
In the next part of the video, the drone circles over the separate R&D center building, which is also already taking shape nicely. Next to it is the entrance to the "Apple Theater", which is surrounded by a mysterious building that looks like the embryo of a giant outdoor amphitheater. A huge fitness center for employeesance is also apparently nearing completion, as is the gigantic garage complex. The entire Apple Campus 2 should accommodate approximately 13 employees.ancand should be completed by the end of the year, with all relocations starting in the region in 2017.
