Founder Facebookua billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has temporarily lost control of some of his social media accounts. Specifically, it was his Twitter account and Pinterest profile. The hacking of these accounts took place yesterday, and they are now under the control of the person who really owns them. The spicy part of all this, however, is that it is Zuckerberg's Facebook, which encourages its users to use the strongest possible password that is also unique. As you can see, the blacksmith's mare still goes barefoot.

The funniest thing about the whole affair is that Zuckerberg himself is not following his own company's security guidelines. If the hacker who hacked into his accounts is to be believed, Zuckerberg used the same password on multiple social networks, breaking one of the recommended rules for securing internet accounts. A hacker calling himself OurMine obtained the password from a 2012 breach of LinkedIn's security database.

It was based on the password from this leak that the hacker then gained access to Zuckerberg's Twitter, where after hacking (in this case, more like logging in) he wrote "you were in Linkedin Database… DM for proof". On Pinterest, the hacker wrote "Hacked by OurMine team". He reportedly also managed to get into Zuckerberg's Instagram account, but that Facebook (as the owner) denies this. According to company representatives, no Facebookem-controlled services.

Interestingly, the hacker's tweet was the first activity that took place on Zuckerberg's Twitter in more than 4 years. He obviously doesn't use this social network very much. However, it can be seen that even people like Mark Zuckerberg are quite lax when it comes to securing their accounts on social networks.
