According to the foreign server Financial Times music streaming service reached Apple Music 10 million paying subscribers after half a year. The service was first launched at the end of June 2015 and the first 3 months were free for all users. Apple announced in October that for Apple Music 6,5 million paying users, but that was before the company introduced Apple Music for Android, which brought the service several million more subscribers.

Although 10 million may seem a little to some, it is actually quite a decent result, as the largest competing service Spotify has 20 million paying subscribers after a few years, and so it can very easily happen that her Apple will catch up soon.

Compared to Spotify, the speed of growth is Apple Music impressive. It took 6 years for Spotify to announce that it had 10 million paying subscribers and Apple Music It took just over 6 months to achieve the same result. On the other hand, it is important to note that Spotify has many more users, but most use the free version, which is limited by advertising.

Apple Music does not offer anything similar and does not plan to offer it, as it relies mainly on exclusive content from artists who collaborate with the Californian giant. For example, in December, the service from Applu exclusively offered Taylor's 1989 World Tour video Swift for all subscribers and initially you could only watch the music video Phenomenal by Eminem here, which only made it to YouTube three months later.
