iPhone 5 was not exactly the happiest generation. While the first dark models had a problem with color fading and the marketing director Applu commented on it as a common thing, another part of users complained about battery problems for a change. Apple therefore last year it launched a battery replacement program for people who had a problem with devices sold between September/September 2012 and January/January 2013 to exchange those devices. Program originally lasted until the beginning of this month, well Apple decided to extend it until January 2016.
The company originally said that the program is valid for a maximum of two years from the purchase of the defective phone, i.e. within the European two-year warranty. However, they now say that users are entitled to a free battery replacement for up to three years from the purchase of the device, which can be considered a positive gesture. Surprisingly, a similar problem could also occur with iPhone 5c, which uses almost the same components, but the battery is more voluminous. Prothe problem with the defective battery affected my original one, for example iPhone 5c, which was exchanged for a completely new model about 2 months after purchase. Whose Apple plans to launch a similar program in iPhone 5c, we will find out later, but there the problems were not publicized as much as in iPhone 5 and especially there are much less of them.
The courier just delivered it to me on Tuesday a week ago iPhone with a replaced battery. The whole thing took 5 working days.
They sent a courier to pick it up on Wednesday and he delivered it on Tuesday a week later.
If I have bought iPhone at the operator? What if I want a new battery? is it even possible?
