Zombies, a phenomenon of today's time, which is slowly but surely breaking through to our regions. In the past, we could encounter films or series of this kind, which, let's face it, nestbut for nothing. Therefore, many of them are unknown today. However, recently this "industry" has made a huge leap forward, and what was a few years ago ridiculous or even embarrassing has become a phenomenon today. Today, it is an unwritten rule that films from a medical or zombie environment usually succeed. So let's take a look at the collection of TOP 5 things that, in my opinion, are really at the top of this entertainment industry these days.
The Last of Us
A game that brings the player a perfect experience of a post-apocalyptic world. It is a fight for survival, in which the main role is the smuggler Joel, who learns about a girl named Ellie, who is immune to the cordyceps fungus, which turns people into zombies. This fungus enters the human body through a bite from a "living-dead". Joel and his partner Tess decide to take little Ellie to the light bearers, who would be able to invent a cure for this disease. However, I will not tell you if they will succeed or if everything will go even worse. You can buy the game for the Playstation 3 or Playstation 4 game consoles. If you decide to play it, a beautiful graphic experience awaits you in connection with a perfectly elaborate game plot.
World War Z
A big movie that has a real superstar in the main character. The protagonist named Gerry Lane, played by Brad Pitt, is a former crisis management expert. The whole film is presented at a really fast pace, where you only have to miss a few minutes and you will get lost in it. However, it should be noted that the film itself is not as much of a blockbuster as the fact that Brad Pitt plays the main role. But it's definitely worth watching because you never know what's around the corner and how it's all going to turn out. However, one thing is certain about this movie. You are not really safe anywhere.
The Walking Dead - comic book
And it is here. It is from this moment that the legend that changed the entire zombie "industry" begins. When the pilot episode of the Walking Dead comic came out a few years ago, no one even expected what it would cause. This comic is still lined up in America today just so that everyone can get it as soon as possible and find out what happens. Later, a series with the same name was made based on this comic blockbuster. We all know how this series turned out.
The Walking Dead - The Game
Waling Dead doesn't have much in common with the famous comic of the same name. The protagonist Lee and later the heroine, the little girl Clementine, experience the absolute scale of the apocalypse together during the first series. Later, things get so complicated that Clementine has to shoot her ocherancat Lee's just to stay alive herself. This game has an incredibly powerful storyline that made many a YouTuber who filmed a letsplay of this game cry. In the game, you never know exactly how it will end, because you create the plot yourself, as you choose from among the options and answers that are offered to you. In the game, you have to pay attention to every single detail, because even the simplest or thoughtless answer can cost you your life. The game is available on almost all devices starting from iPhone, Mac, XBox, PS3 or Windows.
The Walking Dead - the book
If you are a fan of The Walking Dead series and you are interested in the whole story of a man named Philip Blake, who is also known by the pseudonym The Governor, then this series of books is definitely for you. The co-author of these four books is none other than the man behind the comic itself. The whole plot begins with Brian Blake's journey with his friends and brother Philip around America at the time when the apocalypse itself is about to break out. Later, on the way to power in the town of Woodbury, Philip meets Lilly Caul, who, however, does not like the Governor's dictatorship methods at all. The entire plot of this series revolves only around the life of the Governor and later on the desire to take revenge on the group led by Rick Grimes. Adherents of the series themselves know for sure how this story will end. Well, reading these books is definitely worth it.
The Walking Dead - series
And finally the best. The legendary series that changed zombie entertainment from the ground up. Perfect, exciting, action and unpredictable. Even so, it could be called a fight for the bare life of Rick Grimes and his group of several members. The creators of this series really care about every single detail. At first, when I saw the first part, maybe the first two of the first series, I didn't really believe in this series. However, at the moment when the story started 100% and the perfectly prepared characters became literally fighters for survival, the series began to gain intensity. Currently, there are 5 series of this highly successful series, which has a surprise hidden in almost every scene. If you think that the main characters are safe and nothing can ever happen to them, you are wrong. The example of perhaps the most popular character for many people - Hershel - says it all. With the death of this elderly gentleman who always had an answer to everything, many people thought that the whole Walking Dead was over. But the opposite was true. It was then that the whole story started perfectly. I won't tell you more about this series. Anyone who wants to experience tension, adrenaline and a real zombie experience can watch this series. Already 8.2. the second half of the 5th series begins after a half-year break. And it will certainly be the biggest draw for viewers not only in America.
