However, users also have the option to donate specific items from stores from Apple – from iTunes Store, App Store or evenBooks Store. So if you know someone who you know will be happy with the item you have chosen, there is no need to hesitate. The procedure is simple. However, if you would like to donate an application or game from Mac App Store, then you're out of luck. Apple quite inexplicably does not offer this option. So it will be best if you donate a certain amount that will subsequently cover the price of the application or game. The donated amount is immediately added to Apple ID and it can also be redeemed in this store. But let's get back to iTunes.
Donate an item from iOS device
1) Find the desired item you want to donate on App StoreiTunes Store or iBooks Store.
2) Click on the Share icon in the upper right part of the item.
3) Click on the Gift icon.
4) Login to your Apple ID.
5) Enter the email address of the person you want to send the gift to.
6) Enter a message if you want.
7) Choose the day when the gift should be sent.
8) Choose the design of your gift.
9) Click Buy and then Buy again to confirm.
Donate an item from a Mac or PC
1) Login to your Apple ID.
2) Find the desired item you want to donate on App Store or iTunes Store.
3) Click the arrow on the item price and click Gift This.
4) Enter the email address of the person you want to send the gift to.
5) Enter a message if you want.
6) Choose the day the gift should be sent and click Next.
7) Choose the design of your dark and click Next.
8) Confirm the order and click Buy Gift.
