Mac Pro is today one of the company's two computers Apple, which can be upgraded, and is also the Mac that offers the most upgrade options. In addition to the RAM memory, it is possible to upgrade the storage and even the processor, which can be replaced with one of the selected models. Well, most recently we come across a solution for people who, when using Mac Pro nestIt only has 64 GB of RAM.

Transcend has announced that it will sell sets of 16 and 32 GB memory modules, thanks to which standard Mac memory is possible Pro increase to 96 or 128 GB of RAM. With the highest configuration, however, compromises must be taken into account. The company claims that its 32GB memory modules operate at a frequency of 1333 MHz, making them slower than 16GB modules. These have the same frequency as the modules from Apple and OWC, or 1866 MHz.

The memories are compatible exclusively with the new one Mac Pro 2013, which the company ships only in April/April 2014. However, it remains a mystery why Transcend only mentions compatibility with 6-, 8- and 12-core configurations in its press release, but nowhere mentions the entry model with a 4-core processor. The reason why the company does not mention a 4-core configuration remains a mystery. The prices of the new memories are not yet known, but they should go on sale in the near future. Transcend memory has a lifetime warranty.
