After two accidents in China caused by fake chargers pre iPhone, her Apple decided to announce another exchange programme. Specifically, it is an exchange program of USB chargers for iPhone and iPad, and according to the company's statement, the program will start in 10 days, on August 16, 2013. All users who have doubts about the origin or functionality of their chargers can, within the framework of this program, have their charger replaced in Apple Retail Store or at an authorized service provider.
Within this program, users can purchase an original USB charger at a discounted price of $10 or similar in other countries. Unfortunately, according to our information from the service center in Bratislava, this program does not apply to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Apple however, they claim that the conditions of the program can change at any time, and therefore it is not excluded that this program will also apply to us in the future. Original charger for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can be purchased by users at a discounted price only until October 18 / October 2013.
