A few hours ago, Samsung officially presented a new version of its mobile processor at CES 2013 Exynos 5, which he uses in a large number of his mobile devices, including Galaxy S III or half-tablet Galaxy Note II. The new processor from the workshop of the Korean manufacturer now represents a total of up to eight cores Exynos 5 Octa, which, however, is composed of a pair of smaller four-core ARM Cortex chips with different performance, between which the processor is able to switch intelligently according to the need and the phone's load Samsung.
ProThe "Octa" processor is composed of ARM Cortex-A15 and Cortex.A7 chips, both of which are managed by ARM big.LITTLE technology, which enables the aforementioned switching between them. Samsung also promises up to 70% less energy consumption compared to Exynos 5 Dual, but thanks to four cores it does not lose its performance. According to the company, the new processor should also deliver up to twice the graphics performance compared to the chip Exynos 4 Quad, which, as the name implies, has four cores. Foreign servers believe that the new variant Exynosu could be used by the company in its new phone Samsung Galaxy S IV, which should be released already this year.
So maybe Android won't be able tooneto cut...
I wish it to all his fans…
Will be. Performance doesn't do anything about it.
