Together with the end of November 2012 and the release of the new, long-awaited iTunes 11 with a radically modified user interface, the company acquired Apple another patent, this time from the environment of charging devices. The patent, which the Californian company received this week, describes in more detail what is likely to be a functional model of wireless charging, which could one day fully replace cables in the case of an application, and new devices could thus fully use Wi-Fi data synchronization with the iTunes computer application, presented as part of the new "features" of the system iOS 5.

A new patent called "Wireless Power Utilization in a Local Computing Environment" presents a new practical way to charge the battery of portable devices wirelessly, through Near-Field Magnetic Resonanceancie (NFMR). According to the patent, such a charger could emit electricity for all devices located at a distance maxat least one meter from it, and these would have to be devices with very low electricity consumption, but not devices requiring tens to hundreds of watts.

opportunity Apple described as "a realistic and practical approach to wirelessly transfer a usable amount of power between devices at a convenient distance". The technology would make it possible to share energy between, for example, a mouse and a keyboard, allowing these devices to "cooperate" with each other if they are close to each other, creating a so-called virtual charging field. However, these devices would first have to connect to the transmitter via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection, while this station would have to be connected to another, larger power source, for example Macbookvia USB port.

Patent No. 20120303980 was first filed on November 10, 2010 and signed by Michael F. Culbert, Brett C. Bilbrey, David I. Simon, and Peter M. Arnold. Society Apple during this month, however, it received up to 6 patents, among which we can find interesting ones, such as new feature for Logic Studio, box transformable to dock a headphones that can be turned into speakers.
