American MiniThe Department of Justice today indicted the company Apple from a cartel agreement, thanks to which it has the means to artificially maintain high prices. According to MiniIn the interests of justice, the prices of electronic books are unnecessarily high and their price is mainly influenced by Apple and his/hers tooBooks. together with Apple the five largest American publishers were also accused, i.e. Simon & Schuster Inc., Hachette Book Group, Penguin Group, Macmillian and HarperCollins Publishers Inc. Some of these publishers are already trying to reach an out-of-court settlement.
MiniThe justice system is bothered by the current model Applu, which takes 30% of the sale of each book from publishers, but also prohibits the books from being sold at a lower price in other stores. Publishers who want to sell their books in more places than just iBooks Store they are forced to offer the same price everywhere, regardless of whether other sellers also take 30% or a completely different amount. The accusation is still very fresh and no one has commented on it, we will of course monitor the situation.

I agree with that, because the prices of the books in the store are comparably the same as the printed ones!
well, I honestly don't understand who would buy an e-book for $12 when they can get a printed one for $200 with an indescribably greater reading experience, especially when the ipad is not at all suitable for long-term reading. and if you realized so apple praise some numbers but then the number of books sold through iBook store I haven't noticed it anywhere. The same "revolution" with books for schools, the prices are even higher + the price of the iPad...
You see, I don't have to carry around 820 pages of paper, but one flat board that can also hold a bunch of other nonsense.
did you read 820 pages of text on the ipad? good at magic? kindle, of course, I completely understand, but certainly not the ipad.
I've read about 2500 pages and I'm fine
you just need to download the brightness :)
I have read it in 2 years iPhone and about 40 books on my iPad and I'm completely satisfied. I couldn't read a paper book anymore, I don't enjoy carrying it around.
Here you can see how laws work in the USA, etc. When he sues miniboss Apple and others, just pointed out the loopholes in the entire legislation in the USA..
