NPD Group released sales statistics for the current quarter and results Applu are really very positive. ProMac computer sales have increased by up to 22% year-on-year, which can be attributed to Apple thanks primarily to the new OS X Lion operating system and also the new Macbookum Air.
However, analyst Gene Munster remains calm based on these numbers. ProMac sales should stabilize and even start to decline slightly during the fall. This would only change if Apple introduced other hardware news. However, we probably won't see them in the near future.
Even taking into account this seasonal decline, Munster expects that Apple next quarter, it will sell between 4,4 and 4,6 million Macs, and will also achieve year-over-year growth of 13%-18%. Revenues from the sale of Macs should make up roughly 20% of the company's entire profit.
He sold for the last quarter Apple 3,9 million Macs (up 14% year-on-year).
