Press release: Since February of this year, the Hungarian Parliament has been using 3M gold privacy filters to protect sensitive data on the monitor. Pro An unnamed political party has purchased several dozen pieces of 3M gold privacy filters with a diagonal of 12.1w for its members' laptops. All content viewed on the laptops is thus very well protected from unwanted views of political competitors directly in the parliamentary meeting room, or in means of transport and public spaces from the eyes of curious journalists or just sensation seekers.
Other examples of using private filters include, for example, open toancopen-space classrooms, on the go in airport halls, on trains, in public places and spaces, in internet cafes, in classrooms, auditoriums, training centers, at conferences and lectures, or in libraries, etc. Recommended retail prices for 3M privacy filters range from approximately CZK 700 for a dark frameless filter for an 8,9" diagonal to approximately CZK 3000 for a 30" diagonal. Gold frameless 3M privacy filters cost from approximately CZK 800 for an 8,9" diagonal to CZK 2300 for a 19" filter format. Frame lightweight filters, designed for desktop monitors, can be purchased at prices ranging from approximately CZK 3000 for a 17" diagonal to CZK 6500 for a 24" diagonal. Filters for the most widely used laptops with a 15" display diagonal can be purchased for around CZK 1400 (dark) and CZK 1700 (gold), depending on the seller.
