As we expected, today at 11:30 our time, the page store.apple.com found a typical message: We'll be back soon. When Apple sononec launched its online store again, new ones awaited us Macbook Pro. Join us to see what these new machines have to offer, and stay tuned for a detailed article on the configurations that we will be releasing as soon as possible. As expected, especially after yesterday's leak, Apple did not make as fundamental changes as many imagined, especially in terms of appearance, let's see what's new and stay tuned for a detailed article soon on LsA!
Performance
The new 15- and 17-inch models are equipped with quad-core Intel Core i7 processors, and the 13-inch model received a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, or i7 in a higher configuration.
- Apple Macbook Pro 13″ – dual-core Intel Core i5 at a frequency of 2,3 Ghz.
- Apple Macbook Pro 13″ – dual-core Intel Core i7 at 2,7 GHz. (optional)
- Apple Macbook Pro 15″ – quad-core Intel Core i7 at 2,0 GHz.
- Apple Macbook Pro 15″ – quad-core Intel Core i7 at 2,2 GHz. (optional)
- Apple Macbook Pro 17″ – quad-core Intel Core i7 at 2,2 GHz.
All models received 4GB DDR3 operating memory as standard equipment. They contain hard drives with a speed of 5400RPM per minute. The graphics cards are now from Intel for basic work and the second graphics card that the MBP 15″ and 17″ models are equipped with is from AMD with 256MB memory (base 15″ model) and 1GB memory for the MBP 15″ (optional) and 17″.
Distinction
Unfortunately, the 13-inch model has remained at a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, which many customers will find annoying, especially compared to the resolution Macbook Air. MacBook Pro The 15″ offers a resolution of 1440×900 pixels and is the largest addition to the 17″ family MacBook Pro offers a resolution of 1920×1200, which is the highest resolution, by the way Apple LED Cinema 24″ display!
Battery
Battery life of all MacBook Pro is now 7 hours, but that is very unpleasant, especially compared to the fact that previous models achieved up to 10 hours of battery life on the 13″ and 15+17 inch models up to 8-9 hours.
Price
Prices for the base models are the same as the previous generation, with the exception of MacBook Pro 17″, the previous generation of this model cost $2,299, the current one starts at $2499. MacBook Pro The 13″ is priced at $1199 and the 15″ model will cost $1799.
so nothing much, I expected more.
obviously, a very minor update....
So it's not worth buying a new Mac at all :/
It seems to me (mainly regarding the 13″ MCP) that they have remained completely at the same level or that they are even worse (e.g. processor) :((((
@Tominiwho: original MacBook Pro 13″ had an old Core 2 Duo, while the new one has a Core i7, which is much faster. I recommend looking at…

Don't pay for such nonsense.
but rendering support with a graphics card in Adobe software is almost not available on the Macdockame…
I'm curious about the new final cut pro - especially if there will be support for rendering on those windows, because they are already everywhere in the new Macs.
adobe premiere/afters don't do much in Athens... :/
the hentie comparison distorts the new procak. why couldn't they put nvidia GF4xxM there??
@Gui: Tell me, who is desperate for faster processors? Sure, more power is always nice, but it's not a fundamental change anyway. Pro For a normal user, the speed of the hard drive will always be a major change, and the 5400 rpm they install there is terrible. It slows down the entire computer.
Overall, this upgrade Applu didn't do much...
I wouldn't be so skeptical about it,oneEven the 13″ models have received a modern platform in terms of the processor, oneThe performance is not that much lower compared to its larger counterparts, as far as VGA is concerned, I don't know if the increase is that much. Personally, I'm more of a fan of NVIDIA cards, but it's logical that the iMac will be followed by MacBook, I think the change was beneficial. If the battery life is stated as real, then it's quite good. My MacBook with a ten-hour battery life it ideally lasts 7-8 hours, otherwise more like 5 or less, so it's not that great. But, maybe there is some progress here, that is, if the new models really last the advertised 7 hours, it's a better result than the real one with the previous models :) For example, the iPad really lasts the advertised 10 hours, an amazing result :) So I'm not disappointed ;-)
@Samuel Gordon: if I know, then @DominiSomeone mentioned the CPU and I also responded to that.
Who's desperate for faster CPUs? People who work with applications like Logic or Final Cut. If the film will be rendered for 30 or 15 minutes, it is quite important to me.
I honestly don't know what everyone was expecting? It was clear from the beginning that it would only be a small upgrade and that's it Apple, Inc. fulfilled.
open question... when I want to connect an external disk and an external monitor via thunderbolt and I only have one konewhich one?
He released a new Macbooks Pro, not new Macbook Pro.
