Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn Technology Group, whose subsidiaries include Hon Hai and Foxconn International, invests two billion USD (about 35,3 billion CZK) for a new factory in the city of Chengdu in western China. The new factory should mainly assemble portable personal computers for Apple Inc. This will probably reduce the waiting time for goods from Apple, which became insufficient during this year.
