At the end of last month, we informed you that the company Foxconn wants to become independent as much as possible and reduce your dependence on companies like Applefor which it currently assembles some products. Foxconn is extremely dependent, in particular, on Applu and its orders, the company produces its own televisions which are sold mainly in Canada, but it also provides a livelihood for more than 1 employeesancis mainly concerned with Apple, which orders assembly of its products from Foxconn. The company, which founded its business as a manufacturer of products for other companies, now wants to become independent and assert itself in the world as a completely self-sufficient company that will exchange customers from multinational corporations for end users.
Foxconn has officially announced that it has bet its cards on an operating system from Mozilla, which is based on HTML5 and cloudservices. To this end, Foxconn will hire two to three thousand developers who will work on improving Firefox OS for mobile devices and improving its integration directly into the device, which will most likely be manufactured by Foxconn. This is truly a huge success for Mozilla, as independent developers were able to first create an operating system from a web browser, and now they have apparently even found a strong enough partner to make Firefox OS an equal competitor to Android and iOS.
The main advantage of Firefox OS and mobile phones from Foxconn will be the price, after all, both companies are really working together. minicosts and their profit will be directly from the end consumers. Instead, for example, in the production for Apple they have to get profit directly from the company Apple and then compensates for these expenses in the price of its products. However, Foxconn will most likely not sell phones under its own Foxconn brand, but as so-called branded phones of individual operators, for which an army of programmers will be able to create a user interface tailored to their requirements. What may now seem like a relatively ambitious plan, however, may threaten Android and iOS especially in developing countries and especially in China, given that over 100 employeesancWith Foxconn currently working on production lines in China, the company is able to distribute phones throughout Asia with minilow costs and it is likely that Asia in particular will be a key market for Foxconn.

How is it possible that it lags in the demo video, or is it just me?
You don't think so :D
And who will develop for this platform?
In the third line, a lump like Brno :-)
I was expecting the real firefox os to be interesting or sailfish os, but I've only seen firefox on youtube and it's only for weak smartphones, so I think there's no future at the moment
Marcel0007:
that's exactly the problem, if there are no applications, the software is of no use to you, and until they understand it, I'll stand still, android got to a higher level thanks to applications, ios just like that, when a person buys a product and can't do anything with it except make calls and occasionally take pictures and go online, there's no reason to exchange an old mobile phone for a new one, probably never.
RE: Amnart – I agree, clearly the app menu keeps the platform alive, as evidenced by the .RIP memory. on the ZX Spectrum and a lot of programs for it.

I ended up with symbian, although there were a ton of applications and games on it, just settings and overall symbian s40 on n73 was unusable, until I got to the folder or settings, I didn't have the nerve,
then one day i saw an ad for iphone on the TV, so I wanted to try it on when we were once in a shopping center - I sent to the telecom and on the advertising panel it was written iphone 3G - at that time everything American seemed great, so I tried it, I looked at the settings, control - everything was perfect, so I tried it in 2009 iphone from a friend of a friend, it was amazing as such a small device had so many game applications and was amazing to control, at a time when no one had a capacitive display :D, androids had resistive displays and small diagonals, when people didn't see a proper touch phone and were used to Nokia and Ericsson buttons
iphone The 3G that I had for the test in February 2009 had a faulty wifi and it didn't work properly, the data kept turning on, so I received a €70 invoice for the internet :D
that discouraged me, but I still told myself that I wanted to iphone, and when there was a promotion for a 300-year-old entrepreneur where we had coupons from a friend, so I had it for €1 and I was the happiest person in the world at the time, I unpacked a terrible box that seemed to have printed iphone on the cover….
this is my story :D
RE: Amnart with symbian (Nokia E66) I finished the same way before buying iPhone 5.
RE: Amnart what's up iPhone I've been patiently waiting, I've wanted it since version 1 and I bought it now iPhone 5 simply because I don't want to tolerate the errors that were written on the websites when the given version was released and only iPhone 5 was without obvious errors, similarly, and the iPad 3 was a good piece. For the price it costs, I expect the appropriate quality. If someone wants to do a trial run, feel free. :).

so iphone 3G – it had too much shine on the back and left fingerprints, otherwise it was fine, except that it was curved from the back and therefore often slipped out of the hand
3GS for sure, iphone 4 – a terrible cell phone but made of glass – half a year before me iphone When I bought 4, I was afraid that the phone would also break on the first fall, and it didn't :D but it's a fact that it did iphone 5 is best held in the hand, iphone Both 4S and 4 had a problem with antennas and signal reception at the start
I bought it fortunately. iphone 4 in December 2010 so everything was already tuned and 4S last year was also tuned
Slovakia is lucky to be here iphone received and it is in stock, so it is already 3-5 months old and it is already the next batch of production, so the errors have been removed
RE: Amnart :: with the situation in Slovakia, I can only agree with you that everything I ordered in October was available from February to March, it is simply not possible to get anything before Christmas.
Amnart: even the new iP4S still has a problem with the signal even though it has two antennas. If I'm in the mountains, paradoxically, I have a worse signal than my friends who have 2x Nokia and 1x Samsung. The operator is of course the same.
