Macintosh Portrait Display
The Macintosh Portrait Display was introduced in early 1989. It was a portrait-oriented monitor that was designed to display a single page. There was a reason for this, as it was intended for the creation of text publications. It got a 15-inch diagonal and a resolution of 640 x 870 px and could display up to 256 shades of gray.
