Apple last week tooneintroduced a smart home display HomeView, which has been speculated about for months. And although the novelty offers a number of interesting features, of course, considering the many leaks literally several years before its introduction, the question arises as to why something like this Apple didn't come long ago when the competitive Amazon or Google have been selling smart displays for years? The answer to this question is now Apple pulled out of his sleeve and, frankly, it's not surprising at all.  The reason for the long wait was not so much the display, design, or other hardware complications, but primarily artificial intelligence. Apple In short, according to him, he didn't want to launch just another screen for the home, but on the contrary, he wanted a device that would be the true foundation of a new generation Siri.

About your own smart display Apple has been talked about for several years and the original speculation was for its launch in 2025. Nakonebut that's how it is nestHello, and the world had to wait for the news almost until the end of this year. The reason now helps explain the conversation between the representatives Apple for The Verge server, according to which it was essential to connect a smart display with a new Siri, which can better understand natural speech, work with personal context, and provide answers tailored to the specific user.

In other words, Apple didn't want to create just a competitor Amazon Echo Show, which lets you check the weather, play music, or control smart lights. The goal was to create a device that would function as a true home assistant and could offer individual family members information that was important to them.

HomeView is not just intended to be a personal assistant for one person, but for the whole family. That is why it is Apple designed so that it can recognize up to six users and adapt the information displayed to each one. So when you stand in front of the display, you will see, for example, your calendar or reminders. As soon as another member of the household comes to it, the environment will automatically adapt to him. Thanks Siri In addition, the AI will not need to use precisely learned voice commands. It will be enough to say naturally, for example, that your home is cold, and the assistant will understand to adjust the temperature on the thermostat. This simplicity was also emphasized in the interview by Lilian Rincon, Vice President Apple for artificial intelligence product marketing. According to her, the new Siri natural enough that people of different generations and with different technical experiences can use it without any problems.

However, it is precisely in light of Rincon's words that it is becoming increasingly clear that the dependence on new Siri it explains why you HomeWe will not be officially selling View in the Czech Republic, or in the European Union countries, for now. Although it would be available here HomeView was supposed to work even without some advanced artificial intelligence features, Apple apparently decided that such a limited variadoes not want to sell it. If the whole idea of the device is based on a personalized assistant, whose capabilities are based, among other things, on information stored in iPhone, the absence of this technology would mean a fundamental limitation of the intended use. But once it is here Siri AI available, sales can be expected to start here as well.

HomeView will be available in supported markets on November 13th starting at $299. When it will also be available in the Czech Republic is not yet known. Apple However, if you like it at least as much as I do, know that the path to acquiring it is not that complicated, even from us. HomeThe View will also be sold in the UK, where it should be quite easy to get.
