As for usability, Apple has for HomePad is preparing its own software environment focused primarily on simple control, which will probably be called HomeOS. The display should show widgety, clocks and other quickly accessible information, while one of the most important parts of the entire product will of course be Siri. HomeThe entire pad is supposed to be designed around the new Siri AI, so a large part of the tasks should be possible to perform simply by voice.
