Apple within iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS Goden Gate has greatly improved the parental control options for what your children do on their computers, iPhoneor iPads. Prothat is the safety of children for Apple really important, has also released a new guide called Building Healthy Digital Habits: A Guide for Families. It was created in collaboration with Apple and the American Academy of Pediatrics. So, to be completely honest, it can only be called a manual Apple. In fact, these are four points that you can read in a few minutes and find out how to talk to your child about how much screen time they should spend, how to create a child account that protects children and adapts it to their age. You will also find out how to set safety rules for websites and applications and last but not least, you will find out how to create a schedule for using individual features. You will also find out how to manage communication, when you determine who your child can communicate with.
These are interesting things, but I was kind of hoping that they would be more explained and you would learn why a child should spend as much time in front of the screen as they do and everything would be a little more detailed. Unfortunately, you will only see how to set things up here, but why, you will not find that in the manual. Anyway, if you want to use parental controls in new systems, you can learn everything you need about it right here.
