Are you a fan of workshop covers? Applu? Then you have a choice of three options this year – specifically the TechWoven version available only on the series Pro, then silicone versions andonecz versions of transparent or if you prefer transparent. But how to choose the best one in terms of properties? If you are confused, I will try to make it clear to you in the following lines. Of course, I have all three types in my office, which I have already experienced something with in recent weeks, and now is the ideal time to compare them.

Apple TechWoven cover
Apple TechWoven is this year's hot new product, which aims to take the place of premium after a year's hiatus. Apple cover. After Apple abandoned leather, although it had already tried to do so once with the FineWoven cover, but due to its poor durability, it did not meet with positive reviews and after only a year of life, the Californian giant withdrew it, took a year's break in this regard and now came up with TechWoven. And I must say that this break benefited it greatly. For me personally, this cover is absolutely top-notch and if you like its appearance, then there is nothing to hesitate about. It is true that it may not look as elegant as we were used to before, but rather a bit more outdoorsy, however, its properties easily make up for this deficiency.
The cover is made of a plastic knit, which is slightly rough and therefore does not slip in the hand. The great thing is that even after about two months of daily use, it does not get dirty at all, nor does it scratch at all, and what is best, there are no other signs of wear and tear on it. So you don't have to worry about the edges starting to shine or anything like that, because that is definitely not the case. What is extra, and good for me, is that the cover is both fairly water-repellent, but most importantly, thanks to the plastic knit, it does not tend to absorb liquid dirt. This way, it stays on the surface and can usually be wiped off with a damp cloth. For example, I already smeared the cover with curry oil and although I was already slowly saying goodbye to it, a little water was enough for the cloth and the cover is like new.
As for the grip, there is practically nothing to complain about here either. Thanks to the fact that the cover is rough, it holds very well both in the bare hand and now even with gloves, which I really appreciate. So if I were to buy a cover now for iPhone and if I were looking for an original, then TechWoven would be the clear choice. Its price is higher, but the features as such are really great.
Apple silicone cover
Silicone covers are available Applu is already a well-established standard, but it is so good that there is actually no reason to change it. So if you have used silicone covers from in the past Applu, then know that this year's generation is not a miss, quite the opposite. Compared to the previous one, there is Apple The only thing that changed was that holes were made in the lower corners for the loops for the Crossbody strap, making the cover fully compatible with straps. Otherwise, everything remains the same, so you can count on a matte rubber cover with soft, perfectly operable buttons, a flat surface for camera controls, or perhaps a soft interior that will ensure that your iPhone like in cotton.
Given the material used, it is probably clear that the cover fits very well in the hand and does not tend to slip even with gloves. At the same time, it is of course very easy to clean, because you just need to wipe it with a cloth and the cover is like new. Praising it for its resistance to abrasion and the like probably makes no sense, as well as for how well it absorbs drops (which of course TechWowen does) - it is really great at that. Actually, the only drawback that you need to take into account with this type of cover is the fact that over time the mattness will wear off a bit and the cover will look rather shiny, but what is most important - the edges of the cover will be polished quite a lot due to abrasion, which may not look very nice visually. However, a silicone cover is still a safe bet with mininegative meme.
Apple transparent cover
The transparent or if you prefer transparent cover passed this year for iPhones 17 Pro (Max) a relatively fundamental change, when Apple covered the rear magnetic ring with a white rectangular "block", which may be a completely impractical solution for many. But if we get rid of the appearance, there are other things that you need to know about and that may discourage you from buying. Personally, what bothers me the most is how much this cover tends to "get messy". Even if you have perfectly clean hands, the cover will only take a few moments to catch various smudges, fingerprints and so on, which is why you will have to constantly polish it. As for the grip in the hand, it is honestly not that great for me either. The cover is glossy and personally it tends to slip out of my bare hand, let alone gloves. Another negative for me is that it has a large cutout at the bottom for the speakers and USB-C, which is why the bottom of the phone is not protected. And since there are no holes for strap loops, you can say goodbye to compatibility. So, for me personally, the transparent cover is the weakest choice out of the three offered. Apple covers and I definitely wouldn't buy it. Yes, the appearance of the phone will reveal the best, but the tax you pay for it doesn't seem entirely adequate to me.
Question: Will the transparent cover also turn yellow in two months like all transparent covers?
It's more of a transparent plastic than rubber, so I wouldn't be too worried about it turning yellow.
Only the soft sides turn yellow, logically not the hard back
