Today in the evening, the long-awaited autumn event took place Apple Keynote. Company Apple she presented not only iPhone 16 iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10 or maybe new models AirPods, but we also got a new generation of MagSafe charger for wireless charging. This, in conjunction with iPhonem 16 brings a nice improvement.

New models iPhone 16 which Apple today presented at his Keynote 2024, support improved MagSafe wireless charging. With a 30W charger, iPhones can charge at up to 25W, an improvement over the previous limit of 15W. This year's models iPhone 16‌ supports fast charging via ‌MagSafe‌ for the first time. Users can expect up to 50% charge in 30 minutes when using a 30W or higher adapter paired with one of the new MagSafe chargers. Fast charging is also available with a 20W or higher adapter paired with a standard USB-C cable.

This year's iPhone models also offer support for Qi2 wireless charging, but this is limited to only 15W charging. The new models will therefore only achieve the highest wireless charging speeds in combination with the official MagSafe chargers of the new generation. The 30W power adapter will need to be purchased separately because Apple Apple no longer bundles power adapters with iPhone purchases. However, new iPhones come with a USB-C cable. New models ‌iPhone 16‌ will be available for pre-order starting Friday, September 13, with a launch following on Friday, September 20. There are two new ‌MagSafe‌ chargers available, with a 1-meter and 2-meter cable.
