A total of 46 gold medals will be up for grabs during this "super Saturday" and Sunday. Viewers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia can watch all competitions live via the streaming platform Max, and they can choose at any time which sport they want to watch.

Eurosport will be broadcast on 256 during the weekend eventwith over 600 hours of live sports broadcasts. The busiest will be on the platform Max the so-called "super Saturday", when a total of 32 Olympic competitions will be held at one time. Czech fans can look forward to the mixed doubles tennis final, in which Kateřina Siniaková and Tomáš Macháč will fight for the gold medal on Friday, the women's doubles semi-final, where the Czech Republic will be represented by Karolína Muchová and Linda Nosková, or the men's cycling race, in which Mathias Vacek will participate.

Lucie Šafářová, Czech professional tennis player and this year Olympic commentator for the station Eurosport, commented on the Czechancat the Olympic tournament after the defending champions were eliminated. "Unfortunately, we lost our defenders Bára Krejčíková and Katka Siniaková, but it was very challenging for Bára. She has had a lot of tough matches and sometimes you run out of energy. I think Katka Siniaková and Tom Macháč have aanceven for the gold medal, even if they have tough opponents in the semifinals.”

Šafářová also believes in other Czech representatives. "The girls Linda Nosková and Karolína Muchová also have a tough draw now, but they have already overcome tough opponents in the tournament and I also believe in them that it could ring!"

Petr Kaltofen, national coach of the Czech cycling national team, commented on the upcoming Saturday race in Paris. "It will be an interesting and unconventional race, because there will only be 90 competitors at the start." MaxThe minimum number is four people per team, which means there will be no dominoes.anc"and one team that could dominate the race. It is run without radios, the competitors have to rely on themselves and information from the organizers regarding the lead or loss," stated Kaltofen. The race is planned to be 275 km long and the temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees. "It won't be hot, but the portion of kilometers is hearty. The finish on the circuits in the center of Paris will be up and down, which will be very interesting.” the coach added.

Kaltofen included the Belgians, the Dutch and the Italians among the favorites, but according to him, other, smaller countries from a cycling perspective can also speak. "Mathias showed very good form in the time trial, he is confident in the race and we believe in him that he could fight for the top positions. A top ten would be a great result and we will see if he can manage to get a little higher," concluded Kaltofen

René Anderle, sports director of the Israel-Premier Tech team, also commented on the upcoming Olympic race: "The Olympic race is run in small numbers, many countries will have only one competitor. Many competitors know each other from the teams. Lidl-Trek will have the largest representation with 11 competitors. This could affect the race because the competitors know each other and can help each other," said Anderle.

Anderle also noted that the situation will be different from previous years, when there were 150-170 competitors at the start. "This time the starting field will be smaller and a few competitors who are not of sufficient level should drop out soon. This will shrink the peloton even more. The breakaway could decide right from the start, if there are excellent pacers, they could go all the way to the finish line," he explained.

Anderle included Matthias van der Poel and Remco Evenepoel as favourites, but also mentioned Lidl-Trek's Mads Pedersen, who will ride for Denmark. "It will certainly be interesting. I saw the form of Mathias Vack just before the national championship at the races in Belgium, where he drove very well. He's a racer that could fit. He still lacks the speed of the top competitors, but a top ten would be nice. We'll see how it goes," concluded Anderle

In connection with the Olympic Games, August 4 is considered a key date that is associated with the birth of sports legends. It was this symbolism in the past that shaped the Olympic Games into what they are today. WBD prepared a new one-hour documentary especially to celebrate this day August 4th – An Olympic Odyssey, which consists of unique archival footage. The film also includes exclusive interviews with Stuart Owen Rankin (great-grandson of Jesse Owens), Sky Brown (bronze medalist from Tokyo 2020) and Marie-José Pérec (franc(a three-time Olympic gold medalist from Uzbekistan). The document is available on the platform Max.

“Our experiences at Paris 2024 have been remarkable and unforgettable, and we have only just begun. August 4th is traditionally a significant date at the Olympic Games, and this weekend will be epic. ProThe middle weekend of the Games will offer the largest amount of live coverage and programming from Paris 2024. This landmark weekend will bring the largest volume of content across a range of sports, including athletics. We are excited to tell the amazing stories of this landmark weekend,” he's pretending Scott Young, Senior Vice President of Content, Production and Business Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe.
