Advertisements are something that companies love as a source of income and promotion for understandable reasons, but they are not very popular with users - again for understandable reasons. The absence of ads is also one of the reasons why people often pay for various streaming and other services,  TV+ included. But the latest personnel changes in the Cupertino company seem like a harbinger of the possibility that advertisements will also appear in  TV+.

Company Apple has hired an ad executive from NBCUniversal as it continues to build its purported video ad business for Apple TV+. It has been said for a long time that Apple adds to Apple TV+ advertising, which could help increase the company's revenue Apple from a streaming service. It appears that a team is still being worked on to manage this area. Joseph Cady, an advertising executive at NBCUniversal, has reportedly signed a deal with the company, according to Business Insider AppleCady, who has been with NBCU for 14 years, has overseen partnerships with other tech giants and previously held development and strategy roles. Cady is expected to work with WinstoneMCrawFord, the company's head of global advertising sales Apple and the head of the team he supports Apple TV+, as well as Lauren Fry, another video ad sales manager.

This is another of a series of similar steps taken by the company Apple, which the Cupertino company is supposed to provide people with experience in selling video advertising and television advertising. Hiring employeesancof companies Apple is likely part of a larger effort to introduce an advertising layer to the service Apple TV+. Currently Apple does not offer any version of the streaming service Apple TV+ with advertising, however, this is a fairly common practice for some competing services. Apple has some experience with video advertising. Through 2023, it has sold some screen time to advertisers for some Major League Soccer matches, with live TV being a promising place to serve ads to users. One can only hope that if Apple will indeed introduce advertising for the  TV+ service, it will not be part of its paid version, but it will give priority to the new tariff.
