It is hard to dispute that Apple it is among the largest and most successful players on the market, it has a significant share in the development of technologies that it implements in its products and services, and its advances create a competitive environment that then contributes to innovation among other technology companies as well. However, in what did the Cupertino giant himself score this year and what did he succeed in? We will focus on this in the following lines.
Apple This year brought a number of new products and technological solutions, most of which represent a fairly significant step forward. This is true, for example, for the Macs introduced at the beginning of the year. mini with M2 chips, and of course we cannot forget the hard workers like Mac StudioSeptember brought Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 along with the new iPhone 15 models, while the end of the year was marked by machines with new M3 chips. Apple has also continued to pursue its environmental goals, which it is succeeding to a large extent.
Mac mini M2
After the warm reception of the previous generation, on which Apple demonstrated the power of its chips, many were expecting the arrival Mac mini M2 with great impatience, and they arrived at the beginning of 2023, specifically at the end of January. With them, the company offered customers not only greater performance, but also a wider choice. Unlike the M1 version, which Apple offered only in variawith an 8-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, you could choose between an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU in the case of the M2 and with M2 Pro it was possible to reach up to a 12-core CPU and a 19-core GPU. It was similar with unified memory, where the original offer of 8 and 16 GB was expanded by 24 GB and those more demanding who preferred M2 Pro, could go up to 32 GB of unified memory. However, even the basic configurations did not lack agility and Apple he set a surprisingly low price for them.

Mac Studio 2rd generation
A machine that targets professionals, Apple also fed M2 force, specifically M2 Max a M2 Ultra, even though the computer remained unchanged from the outside. Compared to its predecessor, it provided 25% better performance than the M1 Max, the 25% speed increase is accompanied by 50% faster rendering in graphics programs, and the unified memory limit here is 96 GB. M2 Ultra then these benefits M2 Max It advances by another 20% in the CPU and 30% in the GPU, and can be equipped with up to 192 GB of RAM. There are 24 CPU cores and up to 76 GPU cores. The manufacturing process here remains 5nm, but still about it Apple It was said to be the most powerful chipset ever created for personal computers. When you add the ability to connect up to 6 external monitors Pro XDR display andoneactivity, which certainly does not limit creators with its richness, including HDMI with 8K support, it can undoubtedly be said that Applu this venture was successful and with a new generation Mac Studio it delighted the hearts of many demanding users.

Apple Watch
Apple Watch SeAlthough the 9th generation looks no different from the previous two generations, there have been changes under the surface, especially in the form of the new S9 chip, where the user will feel a 30% increase in performance when launching applications and normally browsing the system. Also, the deployment of the second generation ultrabroadband chip Applu U2 for precise localization in space, thanks to which not only finding the iPhone is a thing of the past, is definitely a benefit of the product, although the full potential of its use may only be revealed in the future. The increase in internal memory capacity to 64 GB is also a welcome move, especially if you prefer offline listening to music during outdoor activities. The display has also undergone changes, as its maxThe maximum brightness has been doubled from 1000 to 2000 nits, which has clearly increased user comfort. Gesture support has made it easier to use, especially when your hands are full. As an advantage Apple Watch There is no denying the harmonious connection of hardware and software, where a significant share of the resulting positive experience of the wearer lies in the abilities and tuning. watchOS.

Something similar applies to Apple Watch Ultra 2which of these Apple Watch Series 9 shares a lot. They also look unchanged from the first generation and the increase in performance is also due to the power of the S9 chip, and here too Apple used by U2. However, the brightness rose straight to 3000 nits, which is the highest value that a watch from the Cupertino workshop has ever offered. But the main thing that has to be done Apple Watch Ultra 2 to admit, it is maxultimate durability, which, combined with an emphasis on the ecological side of production, makes the smartwatch Applu product that is worthy of being included among the company's achievements of 2023.
iPhones 15
Smartphones are for Apple flagship product and they raise the bar a little higher with each generation. Although expectations were perhaps a little higher this year, the company managed to make the new iPhones attractive enough to be a motivation for customers to buy. The latest A17 certainly has its share of this Pro, the first chip built on a 3nm manufacturing process, along with camera enhancements, including 5x optical zoom and new video recording capabilities. With A17 Pro The graphics performance has also increased, making gaming on the iPhone all the more lively and fun. Combined with other minor improvements such as the Action button with assignable functions or the presence of the long-awaited USB-C port, we can say that we have come a long way since AppThey have received a fair share of innovations, although it is probably not appropriate to consider the iPhone 15 series as groundbreaking.

MacBook Pro M3
In addition to the new iMacs with M3 Apple at the end of the year he scored with the popular 14″ and 16″ MacBooky Pro powered by M3 chips, M3 Pro and M3 Max. These machines are a common choice for people looking for superior performance while maintaining portability. Of course, the key changes include a new chip. The M3 represents a shift in virtually every respect, with AppThe speed of the M3's energy-efficient cores has increased by 30% compared to the M2 and even by 50% if we compare the M3 with the M1. For the powerful cores, it is 15 and 30% with the same counterparts. However, the graphics performance has also undergone significant changes with the hardware acceleration of Ray Tracing, which Apple confirms its intention to significantly bring the world of Apple computers closer to gaming. In addition to the new chips, at the same time there was, for example, a 20% increase in the brightness of the display or the expansion of support for operating memory with a larger capacity, which now reaches up to 128 GB. It expands the offered configurations as well as the increase in CPU and GPU performance Apple hit the mark on what customers want from a machine like this MacBook Pro, they want, and even in the case M3 Pro and M3 Max, highlighted with a special color varianto Space Black. Although sales figures will only be revealed in the coming weeks and months, it can be assumed that these models will be very successful, which is why they cannot be missing from our list.

Although it may not seem like it at first glance, 2023 was quite a year full of products. Some of them did not receive the reception that the Cupertino giant had hoped for, such as the 15″ MacBook Air, others will only appeal to a narrower spectrum of customers, which could be the case for example Home2nd generation Pod, innovations expected from the first Mac Pro with chip Apple, despite a very decent performance in the competition Mac Studio did not fully fulfill the expectations and other innovations were not so fundamental or simply did not bring significant changes compared to their predecessors. The introduction of the headset can also be considered a success Apple Vision Pro, however, the coming year 2024 will show what impact it will have and what user responses it will meet on a larger scale.
Everything 👍😍
