Free password sharing for Netflix accounts is apparently very close to its end. ProThe operator of this streaming service announced in its press release that in the second quarter of this year it will begin a significant expansion of its anti-sharing system, which it has been testing for a long time in a handful of foreign countries and then decided to deploy in Canada, Spain, Portugal and New Zealand from the new year.

Where Netflix intends to extend the anti-sharing system of passwords in the form of verification and thus the fee for users who do not meet its conditions during this quarter is not entirely clear at the moment, as in its report, in addition to the general "wide rollout to a number of other countries", only the US was mentioned. However, given that this new product is available in Europe through Portugal and Spain, it would not be an absolute surprise if we were to see it here in the Czech Republic. Unfortunately, it is not officially known at the moment how much the extra fee will be for the user with whom you share Netflix, and questions also hang over whether or not a tariff with advertisements will be launched here. Purely hypothetically, however, there could also be an overall increase in the price of the service, as Netflix has already raised prices abroad in previous months. However, until we have official information directly from Netflix, it's time to panic.

Is there information on how it will be for users who travel a lot or digital nomads who stay at home for a few months a year?
