A few days ago, a major update arrived on our iPhones in the form of iOS 16.3. But besides the news, the average user is more interested in how the update affected, for example, battery life. The battery life as such has been iOS 16 has been quite harshly criticized. However, it seems that things are slowly starting to look up. As usual, the test was conducted by the channel iAppleBytes in Geekbench 4, on iPhonech SE 2020, 8, XR, 11, 12 and 13. As usual, you can find the full test in the link below this paragraph.
We'll start with the iPhone 8, which is an exception in this test, as its rating on the battery life score scale dropped from 1695 to 1677 points. IPhone SE In 2020, he improved from 2163 to 2238 points. IPhone XR reports an improvement from 3357 to 3403 points. IPhone 11 then from 3488 to 3609. A big jump upwards can be seen in the "twelve", which rose to 4307 points from 3876. However, it should be added that this model had iOS 16.0.3 even 4368. A similar pattern can also be seen in iPhone 13, which reports 4990 points compared to the previous 5410. On iOS But 16.0.3 got 5590. How do you rate the durability after the update?
- Apple products can be purchased for example at AlgeIn iStores whether Mobil Pohotovost (U Mobil Pohotovost You can also take advantage of the Buy, Sell, Sell, Pay Back promotion, which allows you to iPhone 14 get it from 98 CZK per month)
I confirm, much better than 16.2
iPhone 12 mini
And I confirm, iPhone 11 iOS 16.3 and the battery has improved. Battery health 88%.
"I confirm, better!"
… tvl, comedians :)
Shut up !
What do you mean "comedians"?
It started charging me. iphone even without a charger!
Again, I read that someone's battery life did not improve. Further, after the update, the battery condition decreased, for example, from 95% to 90%. I do not recommend updating the file.
:-D "I do not recommend the file". OK, expert!
Adam, you bastard! I already wrote to you once... don't insult people around you. You will end up very badly. Nobody cares about your opinion. Fuck one Czech bitch.
i have iphone 13 and I confirm the durability is much better than on ios 16.2.
I still have 16.0 and everything works. And a flashlight.
Did I miss something? :-)
Yes, for example about security patches….
Please write only those who have something sensible on the topic. I think that I am not the only one who is interested in the state of battery life of iPhones, because lately it has been miserable. With a "small" update I always wait a few days for feedback from the world, so for now I am running 16.2 and it is compared to 15.7.2 (not to mention 15.3 when I bought it iPhone 13 mini) is somehow strange - I use it the same way (quite a bit) and sometimes it lasts for 3 days before I have to charge it to about 20% (and charge it to about 90-95%) and other times the battery runs down and is on the verge of 2 days.
For "Slávek" - what have you lost? Well, nowhere (Apple, Windows etc.) I wouldn't stay on the first version after a big change, it guarantees a lot of problems. So if you upgraded to 16.0 and you're not going any further, you should have stayed on 15.7.2.
Take it easy :-)

So I didn't miss anything on 16.0, but after updating to 16.3 on two phonesonech (12 and 13pro) stopped working for me carplay, neither cable nor wireless works. I tried removing the device, but it doesn't work anymore. Carplay to pair. So the main thing is that I now have a current secure iOS.
