After about a year and a half long stay on Mars, the Chinese rover Zhurong is in trouble. The rover was put to "sleep" in May last year. However, scientists have been unable to launch it for a month. Sandstorms (sand deposited on the solar panels) are most likely to blame, making it impossible for the rover to generate enough power. However, it should be added that the rover was designed for a three-month stay. It will probably not be so regretful if it is not started again.
