Meta received a huge fine

The Meta Platforms concern was fined 265 million euros in Ireland for violating the GDPR. The commission began to investigate the fact that personal data (names, phone numbers, e-mails, dates of birth) of more than 533 million users from 100 countries of the world appeared on the Internet. In addition to the fine, the Data Protection Commission there ordered Meta to take several corrective measures.
