Head of Meta (formerly Facebook) has not been going far lately for controversial statements, which he convinced the world of again just a few hours ago. In a new post on Instagram, he made it clear that he is a communicator WhatsApp much more private and secure than iMessage od Appyou.

Yes, you read that right. WhatsApp, which has been part of Meta's portfolio for years, and which is regularly criticized for mishandling user data and its leaks, is, according to Meta's boss, far better than iMessageThe reason is its end-to-end security, but mainly the possibility of disappearing messages, greater possibilities within individual chatand so on. The icing on the cake, according to Zuckerberg, is the multiplatform use, which iMessage they can't boast about. What's the point of them being called the most secure publicly available communicator by independent security experts for a long time. In Mark Zuckerberg's eyes, it's simply about the quality WhatsAppThey don't have it, which is somewhat understandable. After all, it is precisely Apple has been lying in Meta's stomach in an absolutely extreme way for the past two years or so, as he has made it significantly difficult for her to do business in the advertising sector. Namely, to their operating systems Apple deployed tracking blockers and other similar features that prevent the targeting of ads that Meta makes a living from.
And Viber?
And what is that?? 😂
Poor attempt. It's really not that little used...
I recommend some Google. And for example find a map where which communicator is 1 in a given market and WA is the domain mainly of South America, parts of Asia and Africa. North America goes FB MSN and iMessage, Western Europe FB MSN and WA are second, etc. Viber is number one in only a few countries, but if I remember the latest statistics, it is in the top 5 worldwide.
Viber is above WA in terms of security, but probably below iMessage. However, at least for me and other people around me, it is definitely preferable to WA for other reasons. Much better made, native app on iPad and more options far away drive. What WA caught up with great fame in Covid, like x people in a call and more, Viber has been able to do for a long time. It doesn't even mention the possibilities of native operation on x different devices with full sync.
Exactly. I also prefer Viber. Right after iMessage.
Viber was my choice c. 1, I didn't allow it until one update about 4 years ago. Messages delivered/notified half a day after sending is really over the line. Even the post pigeon is more reliable and faster. Sometimes I have to open viber and it's annoying with the advertising ballast. Viber RIP for me.
@sneman - I've never had a problem with late delivery or notification, and I actually use it x times a day.
As for ads, I somehow missed it too, or rather in the discussion it is "like a contact" where there is something, but it doesn't give notifications or anything else, so I don't even know it's there. I've read it now and I have to say that I was purposefully looking for the ad, rather than having to bother with it :-)
With the fact that i…. he went crazy
I tremble with horror whenever I have to open that shit called WA... First of all, working with media is incredibly compressed manure. Design is also hell. Only iMessage.
