Google has done away with its annual look back at the most interesting things we saw on YouTube that year. The annual Rewind video was last seen in 2019, when it garnered 3,5 million likes and 9,5 million dislikes. Not only the number of dislikes, but also the comments under the video clearly showed that the last Rewind was not very successful. After YouTube started hiding the number of dislikes the week before last, a comment appeared under Rewind 2019 with the text: "we won't forget the 9.5 million people who disliked this", which garnered thousands of likes.
ProThe problem is that under the video from 2018 you will find the comment: "Let's all take a moment of silence for the 19M dislikes before they get removed". So if you thought that 2019 was an exception, it must be said that it turned out even better than the previous year, which had 3 million likes and an incredible 19 million dislikes. According to viewers, videos mapping the past year on YouTube have not been very successful in any of the last years. When Google announced in 2020 that we would not see Rewind videos due to the global pandemic situation, everyone was waiting to see how it would turn out this year. Unfortunately, we will not see the video this year either and YouTube Rewind ends up in the abyss of history.
I quite enjoyed the haircuts. Too bad for me.
Yes, but 2018 and 2019 are the absolute worst :D
So just now, when they canceled the dislike button just to be sure, they could film it 😂
