A few months ago, the name of NASA's upcoming James Webb telescope was under threat. One reason was that Webb was once part of the Lavender S campaign.care, when the US government fired homosexuals. NASA, according to its own statement, investigated the case and decided that there was no wrongdoing and the telescope would not be renamed. However, Lucianne Walkowicz was not satisfied with such conclusions, and in protest she decided to resign from her position as an advisor to the space agency. She called the investigation a sham.
