T-Mobile lends a helping hand to households affected by the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Special offers are focused on those population groups that are affected by social isolation or measures to restrict the movement of people. Whether it's seniors who want to stay in touch with their loved ones, schoolchildren and students who need Internet access for distance learning, or customers who have to work from home. Families in financial distress can take advantage of the postponement of regular monthly payments for their tariffs.

“The current second wave has clearly shown who has been hit the hardest by the pandemic and the measures. We will not leave our customers behind, just like in the spring,” says Michal Podlucký, Director of Resident Customer Management at T-Mobile, and adds: “After unlimited data for hospital staff, hygiene stations, and special packages for corporate customers, we are not forgetting households either.” The shift of schoolchildren and students to distance learning has shown the necessity of a home internet connection without restrictions. T-Mobile will therefore stop counting data in their tariff for all users of Student tariffs for young people – current and older generations (Můj Student, Student, Student DATA) – until the end of November. They can thus use distance learning as they wish thanks to unlimited data on their mobile phone.

Assistance to the risk group

Protecting the most at-risk group – the elderly – does not always have to lead to their social isolation.   T-Mobile reminds that in Magenta 1, calls and SMS within a group of selected numbers are completely free. Families should not forget about their grandparents and add them to the group. Users of the Twist prepaid service can also be included there. In higher Magentas, the group can draw 15 GB or 20 GB, so even grandparents can use the additional shared data and call their loved ones using video calls. Pro For customers who cannot use the benefits of Magenta 1 for any reason, but still need to be available to seniors in their family who have a prepaid card during this difficult period, T-Mobile is returning the Sponsor service to its offer. It allows calls from a Twist prepaid card to the account of the called customer. Grandparents no longer have to deal with the amount of credit and can be in touch with their loved ones at any time. The Sponsor must be activated by the "sponsor" themselves, i.e. the customer with the tariff, until further notice via the My T-Mobile self-service.

In short, even prepaid SIM users will not come

T-Mobile is giving all Twist users, including seniors, benefits for recharging their prepaid cards. From Saturday the 24th until the end of October, we are adding 50% extra credit to every cashless recharge made from the safety of your home, via our My T-Mobile application or the website www.t-mobile.cz . After that, this bonus will be replaced by a Christmas offer, where we will give customers 10 GB of extra data for every recharge. You can simply claim your data reward in the My T-Mobile mobile application.
