Games supporting auto-chess or based on this concept have been in the news lately, and just like in the case of the world-famous Battle Royale, most studios are trying to add to the hype and get carried away by the general excitement. It was no different recently with Valve's Dota 2 and countless other more or less well-known MOBA games. It was only a matter of time before Ubisoft joined in and contributed its bit to the mill. It didn't wait too long and rushed in with the pun Might & Magic: Chess Royale.

If you have ever played Dota, League of Legends or a similar MOBA game, you have certainly noticed the incredible complexity and difficult controls that the game offers. For this very reason, the creators came up with the auto-chess mode, which simplifies the whole concept, and although it retains the tactical aspect, most of the fights take place on a small area and in turns. Especially in the last two years, titles from this subgenre have exploded, and a number of larger and smaller studios have tried to appeal to players. Ubisoft did not hesitate for too long and with its game Might & Magic: Chess Royale seeks to expand the Might & Magic and at the same time enrich it with new elements. The gaming company wants to differentiate itself simply by combining two of the most popular genres, Battle Royale and auto-chess, into one. Up to 100 players will compete on a small battlefield and compete with their characters.

But don't worry, the game will keep miniminimalist design and limited scope of auto-chess, while trying to implement some game mechanics known from PUBG or Fortnite. You will have only 10 minutes for each round, so the match will go quickly and the players will take turns so efficiently that even 100 individuals will not be a problem. Of course, there will be no shortage of atmospheric locations, well known to fans of Might & Magic, and a magnificent musical accompaniment that will not let you breathe for a moment. So if you are not a fan of strategy, but are also attracted by unpredictable and frenetic Battle Royale, definitely come to App Store and give the original Might & Magic: Chess Royaleanci.
