We don't even have 5G at the moment, but China has started working on the next generation. According to CNBC, the Chinese miniThe Ministry of Science and Technology has tasked two groups to start working on 6G. One group is essentially made up of officials who should support the development and solve any problems within the framework of legal regulations. The second group is made up of scientists. Given the freshness of the news, it is really not clear when Chinese scientists will come up with an initial solution. By then, we will hopefully see full-fledged 5G networks.
