The universe continues to fascinate, and it will take a long time for humanity to uncover all its secrets. Scientists have discovered a white dwarf whose existence is impossible according to calculations. A white dwarf is the last stage of a star's existence. The star burns hydrogen and a dense core is pushed to the surface. The newly discovered white dwarf KIC 8145411 has about 20% of its original mass. Typically, these bodies are roughly 60% of their original mass. Therefore, scientists think that it was a very small star whose lifetime is very long. But according to their calculations, this body would have to be older than the universe itself in such a situation, and that is simply not possible
