As electric mobility becomes more and more popular, the risks that electric cars can cause are being addressed. Since the electric motor is practically inaudible, people crossing the road can easily ignore such a car because they don't really look around. From July 1, all introduced electric or hybrid cars must be equipped with a special device that will emit a sound like that of an internal combustion engine.
