Oculus really believes in virtual reality, so it is not surprising that it introduced a new headset called Rift S. It is an upgrade of the existing versions and brings interesting news. Above all, there will be no need to have cameras placed around you to monitor movement. These are directly inside the headset and recognize your movement by tracking the area around you. Using five cameras, the device will be able to capture everything around you, and motion recognition should be really accurate. The Rift S will feature a resolution of 1280 x 1440 for each eye, which is a nice improvement over previous versions. Unfortunately, the frequency has been reduced to only 80 Hz, and inside, instead of an OLED display, we only find an LCD. The price is set at $399 and we should wait until this year.
