Last week Apple has added a great new product to its Online Store. It will please users who demand first-class graphics performance from their Apple laptop. As you have already read on our website, the fifteen-inch MacBook Pro in higher configurations it can now be the first to be equipped with Radeon graphics cards Pro Vega 16 and 20, which should provide it with much higher graphics performance, which is confirmed by the first benchmarks.

The benchmark test used a configuration with a Radeon graphics card Pro Vega 20, Intel Core i7 processor with a frequency of 2,6 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The test result was published by magazine reader MacRumors, providing a perfect insight into the performance. With this configuration, the user achieved a remarkable 72 points in the OpenCL test. On Geekbench, where the benchmark test results are located, we can also find out how devices with a similar configuration fared. Although they even had an Intel Core i799 processor, they performed similarly in the test. MacBook Pro, with results of 75, 817 and 76 points.
However, if we look at the previous maxthe maximum possible GPU mentioned MacBookwhich was Radeon Pro 560X, so it won in the test maxat least 65,000 points. As for the processor benchmark tests, they are of course almost identical. Pro15″ cesor MacBooku Pro was not changed in any way.

If you are tempted to own a 15″ MacBook Pro with Radeon graphics card Pro Vega 16, you will have to prepare at least 94,990 crowns. For the Radeon version Pro Vega 20 will increase the total price by another 3,200 crowns. However, for that price you get really great graphics performance that professional users will definitely appreciate.
Great graphics performance? The most powerful of the graphics is weaker than the 3GB GTX1060... if this is a great graphics performance then how to mark the graphics performance of e.g. RTX 2070 ;)
When the 1060 3gb has better performance, why Apple does it put vega in laptops? Maybe because 1060 is good for full HD and can forget about some professional graphic work...
ProSo he said goodbye to Nvidia, so he can't put anything other than AMD there?
And because Nvidia, following the example Applu sells its Quadra with a lowend chip for a lot of money, while AMD could go Applu on hand and give these graphics unlock or profi drivery, which Nv would never give for 1060.
See that Nv has written in the EULE that you must not do GPU virtualization on Geforce.
The Radeon has much better all-round performance, and I also don't know if it would fit into such a compact body of the 1060 without any problems.
So for me, this performance is nothing that would make me buy a 95k laptop, it's really a steal... but against my taste
So, for example, mobile NVs today have the same performance as desktops, which is amazing. If the citizen (market) asks for thin macbook, it must have low-end graphics, otherwise it cannot be cooled and it would drain the battery. Honestly, if I want graphics performance, a basic 15″ with an i7 at 2,2Ghz and an eGPU for that is enough. Then it's a different story...
Well, I do not know.
Mam ProIt's almost 70 bucks and the keyboard is terrible, very sensitive to any dirt and the display has printed keys. Shame on me.
1. The keyboard is designed for faster typing.
2. They put foil under the keys.
3. Display and now about Karkulka...
but Haters gonna hate…
File fanboys gonna cry.
