Google fired a programmer named James Damore after he created a 10-page document condemning the company for emphasizing diversity. In a memo he sent to his colleagues, the software engineer claims that men are biologically more inclined to work in the tech industry than women.

The manifesto, which was first reported by Motherboard, has since been published in full by Gizmodo, sparking a heated debate. Many tech companies, such as Google, are trying to increase the representation of women in tech, which Damore doesn't like.

He adds that Google essentially discriminates against men with support programs for women. Damore says in the documentary that the Internet giant ignores the biological differences between men and women.

Google initially took a cautious approach. Danielle Brown, the newly appointed vice president of diversity, said in a statement that Google does not endorse, promote, or support Damor's views. But the vice president explained that Google is tolerant of people's opinions. "Part of building an open and inclusive environment is fostering a culture where those with different views, including political ones, feel safe," she wrote. It was not immediately clear what further steps the company's leadership would take.

In an email response to the situation, Google CEO Sundar Pichai emphasized that the programmer violated the company's code of ethics, but did not confirm that he would be fired. However, Damore said in an email to Bloomberg stated that he was fired for reinforcing gender stereotypes and violating the employment codeance.

"A lot of the things discussed in the document are debatable, whether most people at Google agree with them or not. However, some parts of the document violate the employment code."ancand promote harmful stereotypes about men and women in the workplace, which goes far beyond boundaries,” wrote Sundar Pichai in an internal company email.

All bad is good for something. Thanks to the media scandal, Damore was offered a new job. The founder of Wiki is trying to get himleakwith Julian Assange.
